My Story

Hello, and thank you so much for being here and taken the time to visit my Grateful Earth page.

For over 30 years, I’ve been creating nature-inspired artwork, and I continue to feel thankful that this creative journey keeps unfolding and evolving—much like the seasons themselves. Nature has always been my greatest teacher, source of comfort, and wellspring of inspiration.

Another passion of mine is embracing life fully while navigating the challenges of multiple sclerosis. Along this journey, I’ve learned to listen more deeply to my body and to honor the gentle, supportive wisdom found in plants and natural practices.

About five years ago, I discovered a beautiful and inspiring book, The Lost Book of Herbal Remedies: The Healing Power of Plants by Dr. Nicole Apelian.  Dr. Apelian, who also lives with MS, shared herbal approaches that support balance, energy, cognitive clarity, and immune wellness. Her work resonated deeply with me and became a meaningful part of my own path.

For the past five years, I’ve followed her dual-extracted mushroom tincture protocol as part of my daily wellness routine. Personally, it has helped me feel more grounded, resilient, and supported. One addition I’ve made is cordyceps mushrooms, which I incorporate to support breath work and sustained energy.

Since welcoming this tincture into my life, I’ve noticed a greater sense of balance and well-being. When I miss a few days, I can feel the subtle shift—a reminder of how powerful mindful consistency and self-care can be.

I share this not as a prescription, but as a reflection of my personal journey—one rooted in gratitude, nature, and intentional living. Thank you for being here, for reading my story, and for sharing this space with me.
